This collaborative project seeks to develop and demonstrate distributed acoustic sensing (DAS) technology applied to geological carbon sequestration. Field tests will be performed at the Gundih CCS Pilot Project, Indonesia and the CaMi Field Research Station (FRS), Canada.
The purpose of the project is to find out how acoustic fiber can be used to measure various types of traffic congestion on the E8 test siste in Statens Vegvesens Borealis project: Vehicle counting, speeds, vehicle stopping and traffic congestion.
Unused or unmanaged catch represents more than 40 % of the global marine catches. Autonomous systems for search and detection may reduce the environmental footprint of commercial fisheries by improving the targeting accuracy and also reduce the amount of fossil fuels that today are consummated by conventional fishing vessels during their search for fish.
